John Bottema has returned to California from his deployment and is safely back home.

We continue to pray for Louisa and Bob Schut and their family with the passing of Louisa's Aunt Beth in the Netherlands. May the Lord give his comfort to Louisa and Bob's family.

Congratulations to Arla Star with the birth of her granddaughter Danielle Carla Star born to Jason and Casey. She was 8 pounds and 9 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. Praise the Lord for this blessing of new life to Arla's family.

Pray for Hillcrest CRC Pastor Brian Bosscher and his wife Judy whose transfer to Mary Free Bed has been postponed until after the weekend.

Right after the morning service, there will be a brief congregational meeting to approve Jack Buys' term extension as deacon and Bob Schut for a 3-year-term as elder.

Tonight at 5 p.m. we will have a church dinner where Pastor Mark will lead us in a brief devotional, we will share in conversation over a simple meal with suggested ways to share closing with a hymn sing. 

Weekly  Prayer Focus:  Pray for the officebearers who will be beginning or continuing their terms of office. Pray, too, for those who retiring from office after this month.

Our Scripture for today is 2 Corinthians 9:7, "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Pray for Hillcrest CRC Pastor Brian Bosscher and his wife Judy who was able to be removed from the ventilator on Sunday and was able to be moved out of the ICU and moved to Lacks at St. Mary's Hospital on Tuesday.  The doctors want to move her to Mary Free Bed as soon as possible for further rehab.  Continue to pray for Judy's recovery.

Kestra Brouwer is making profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ this morning. May the Lord bless her as she lives out her faith in the Lord in this new chapter of her faith journey.

At our 5 p.m. service we will be having a video teaching of Ray Vanderlaan's "Roll Away the Stone" which includes discussion and singing Easter songs together.

Robert De Young was  released from  St. Mary's Hospital  Friday, and is now convalescing at his home.

Ruth Schepers  is scheduled  to be released today from Zeeland Hospital, as her condition has improved. She will return to Sunset, and receive therapy. Please  thank the Lord for her improved condition.

At this time as we think of the life and legacy of Dr Martin Luther King Jr., let us pray for the easing of racial tensions in our nation.

Weekly Prayer Focus: During this week of Resurrection Sunday, pray for the life of our risen Lord to transform lives and communities here and around the world.

Ruth Schepers was admitted to Zeeland Hospital yesterday, due to congestive heart failure. Please pray for her.

Robert De  Young's condition is improving. He hopes to be released from St. Mary's Hospital today or tomorrow.

At this time as we think of the life and legacy of Dr Martin Luther King Jr., let us pray for the easing of racial tensions in our nation.

Robert De Young was admitted to St Mary's Hospital yesterday with a case of the flu. Please remember him in prayer. 

At this time as we think of the life and legacy of Dr Martin Luther King Jr., let us pray for the easing of racial tensions in our nation.

Keep praying for Elsa and the rest of Jay's loved ones after his passing.  Jay's visitation will be today from 6 to 8p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home.  Jay's funeral will be tomorrow, April 2, at 11 a.m. at 12th Avenue CRC with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m.  May the Lord comfort Elsa and the rest of Jay's loved ones.

Tonight we will be celebrating Jesus' resurrection with an Easter Hymn Festival.  We will be singing Easter hymns and hearing Scriptures about Jesus' resurrection appearances.  Pastor Mark will share a meditation on "Jesus Appearance and Ours" from Colossians 3:4.
