We give our sympathy to Al and Lindsey Broene and their family with the passing of Al's grandmother, Bea VanderWeele, on Saturday. Her funeral arrangements are pending. May the Lord comfort Al and Lindsey and the rest of Bea's loved ones.

Les Knot, a former member of 12th Avenue Church, continues to recover from his brain tumor surgery. His wife Joan reports that his surgery went very well. The doctor was able to remove a golfball sized tumor from the back area of his brain. His vision is fairly normal. He has some left side weakness which will require therapy.

Kestra Brouwer's chemo treatments are lowering her white blood cell count which enables her to fight infections. Pray that her white blood cell count will soon improve.

Steve Camiller's sister, Laurie Poll, was able to be evacuated from her hotel in Port-au-Prince and get to a plane at the airport. She was scheduled to land in Detroit early yesterday morning and to drive back home. Praise the Lord for his protection.

President Trump has called on our nation to pray, following a shooting at the Capital Gazette newspaper in Annapolis, Maryland. Pray for the families of those who lost their lives,  and for those wounded, as well as for the first responders.

Grace Vander Kooi  had another successful  cataract surgery  on Thursday, and is grateful for your prayers.
