Our Maundy Thursday Service is today at 7 p.m.  Please enter through the west entrances to the sanctuary so that you can have your hands washed in commemoration of Jesus washing his disciples' feet and receive the communion elements for the service.  The theme of the service is "Jesus' Journey to the Cross."  We will celebrate communion at the beginning of the service, Pastor Mark will give a meditation on "Jesus' Journey and Ours," and Scriptures, Choir anthems, and Lenten songs will lead us on Jesus' journey to the cross from the Upper Room to the Cross.  May this service help us to reflect anew on the events of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

Reka Schuuring, our oldest member at the age of 105 years and 9 months, went to glory yesterday in the presence of her loving family. There will be a private graveside service next Wednesday, March 28 at 11 a.m. at the Georgetown Cemetery. We extend our condolences to the family and all the bereaved.

Tonight we will be having a video teaching service in our basement fellowship room at 5 p.m. we will be singing Lent songs and watching and discussing Ray Vanderlaan's "Weight of the World" on Jesus' experience in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Mila Baatenburg, the granddaughter of John and Lorel Baatenburg, has been released from the hospital. The doctors believe that her dangerously low blood count was caused by a recent viral infection. Mila's symptoms of nose bleeds and sudden red spots on her body left with treatment as quickly as they came. The family is grateful for the prayers on Mila's behalf and praise the Lord for his healing mercies for Mila.

Mila Baatenburg, the granddaughter of John and Lorel Baatenburg, has improved dramatically in her condition. Yesterday she was treated with steroids and other medicines and she responded well. The low blood counts she had when she was first admitted have improved to the point that she might be able to be released today. The family appreciates all the prayers offered on Mila's behalf.
